About
Born in Brattleboro Vermont, Andy moved with his family when he was 2. Arizona became the new frontier. As a kid, his interest in creative welding started when his father bought a small Lincoln Weld Pak. He began tinkering with welding projects around the house. That was the beginning of his fascination with metal and welding. The possibilities were endless.
By his mid-20’s, he bought himself a Esab welder, and began working on bigger projects, creating metal works for his home and his friends & family. With all this experience, he began doing small gates, gate repairs and automotive repairs. Then came the birth of Canedy Metal Craft. His first commissioned projects came in the early 2000’s. His clients have loved his vision, and his expertise...attention to detail and structural integrity. The work has spoken for itself, and word has spread. Now Andy regularly designs and builds commissioned pieces all over the valley. Moving into the future, his aspirations include keeping his metal business small enough so that he can maintain the creative hands-on that is the cornerstone for all of his pieces. He’s interested in continuing his design of furniture and sculpture, as well as every kind of welding for home & business projects. Contact Andy now to discuss your projects. |
